The La Finca golf club is situated in the heart of the Vega Baja, the valley of the river Segura in the province of Alicante, near the village of Algorfa and the small town of Almoradi. The beautiful and unspoilt dune beaches of Guardamar can be reached in about 10 minutes aswell as the historic town of Orihuela. Alicante airport is at easy reach (approx. 25 min by car).

If you play the 18+1 hole golf course or you have a drink at the clubhouse you can enjoy some fantastic views down into the valley of the Vega Baja or at the surrounding mountains.

The Par72 course designed by Jose Gancedo has a good reputation amongst golfers, it is considered one of the top courses on the Costa Blanca. It is beautifully landscaped with some connecting lakes and a multitude of palm trees, olive trees and cypress give it a typically mediterranean flair.

Although there is a nice club house already open the big new Social Club will open doors in 2008 aswell as the hotel which is under construction. La Finca has quite a big commercial area with supermarket, banks, restaurants, bars and more businesses to open soon. In relation to other golf projects properties are quite affordable but at the same time are well designed.

 

 

Several lakes with running water and reed beds along the course add beauty and difficulty to the game, and have made the course the home of a wide variety of migratory water birds, such as ducks and egrets, while the interior of the course is home to olive and palm trees, thus creating a beautiful backdrop of vegetation with a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.

 

The company Quara is the new group name for the family run business of the three golf developments "Villamartin", "Las Ramblas" and "La Finca" and some other housing projects. "Villamartin" was started in the early 70s and is one of the first golf courses on the Costa Blanca.
