This unspoilt region in south-east Spain, with 250 kilometres of Mediterranean coast known as the Costa Calida and its beautiful mountain ranges inland has been largely kept a secret - until now.

Most of these resorts are built around exclusive golf courses by top course designers like Jack Nicklaus, Dave Thomas, Greg Norman and others and have a luxury hotel on site. But it doesn´t matter, if you are not into golf. The Costa Cálida benefits from an excellent transport infrastructure already in place; a different scenario than the Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol real estate investors saw years ago. Modern motorways already link the region with Granada and Sevilla to the south-west, Alicante and Valencia to the north-east and Madrid to the north-west. Two different airports currently connect the Costa Cálida perfectly to the rest of Spain and Europe. Apart from nearby Alicante airport and the international but limited San Javier-Murcia airport on the edge of the Mar Menor, the region in early 2010 will count with a new international airport for Murcia, 15 km south of the city. This will be very convenient for most of the new resorts in the area (Polaris World, Corvera Golf and Country Club, 3 Molinos, Hacienda del Alamo, La Perla, United Golf Resorts etc.). A high-speed train will shrink the journey to the country's capital Madrid to a mere two hours soon.

Most of the resorts offer 24 security and the majority of them is a so called gated community within a closed perimeter. Access will be controlled and usually ther is only one gate to get in the resort. Apart from security nearly all featured projects offer a multitud of services on site. Don´t worry. Live.
