This second project from CALIDONA (formerly "Sea and Sun Resorts") is situated to the foot of the of the Sierra de Carrascoy mountain range, a beautiful area of pine tree forrest with the status of a natural park. Corvera Golf & Country Club is located some 2 km from the village of Corvera and a 15 minute drive away from the historic City of Murcia and 20 minutes from the Costa Calida beaches on the Mediterranean or the Mar Menor lagoon.
The resort itself extends over 2,1 million sqmThe residential areas are arranged perfectly around (and within) an international competition standard 18-hole José María Olazabal golf course (par 72). One important difference to many other developments is the low density of construction: The 1.845 properties, apartments and villas, will be built on only 9% of the ground. This leaves a lot of open natural spaces and garden areas apart from the 70 hectares golf course. The design of the resort is left in hands of the famous landscaping company WATG. In the heart of the resort you can find a multitude of services, sports facilities including indoor swimming pool and SPA, horse riding and trekking trail, bars, restaurants and last but not least: a superb De Vere hotel. Of course the resort will also have restaurants and shopping areas.
Security of the residential areas is another important feature of Corvera Golf & Country Club. The properties are situated within a closed perimeter with access control and 24h security surveillance. There is also a strong emphasis on services such as health care, housekeeping and rental services and maintanace in absence of the owner.
The resort will be well connected by air and by land: Various motorways can be easily accessed and the future international airport of Murcia opening in 2009 is on the other side of Corvera village. Close by but not too near. No flight path over the resort!
Building work has comenced and first handovers are sheduled for the 2nd half of 2007. Showhouses open.

In Corvera Golf and Country Club you can find 2 different styles of apartments, both in a 2 and a 3 bedroom version, and 4 different villas. All properties are build to a high quality standard and will be handed over with central heating, pre-installation air conditioning and a fully fitted kitchen inluding ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan and granite work top.
